What's happening right around you.
Your neighbourhood, on a map.
Kuupo turns the map into a place to find and start local events — hikes, coffee meetups, yoga, gigs. Each one is tagged with friendly pictograms, so you browse by what you'll do, not walls of text. No sign-up — just open and explore.
Discover your neighbourhood, one pin at a time
A joyful, visual way to find the people and happenings right around you.
Map-first discovery
Open Kuupo to a live map of what's on nearby. Events appear as tidy pins you can browse, cluster and tap — no endless feed to scroll.
Pictogram tagging
Every event is described with visual activity symbols, auto-suggested as you type. Browse by what you'll actually do — friendly in any language.
Real-time talks
Each event has its own live chat with photos, so you can sort out details, share a lift, or just say hi before you show up.
Tap the map to create
Spotted a good spot? Tap it, add a time and a few words, and your event is on the map for neighbours to find and join.

Truly local
Kuupo uses real proximity, so you see what's genuinely near you — your street, your town — not the whole internet.

Good questions
Do I need an account?
No. Kuupo uses anonymous device login — pick a name and you're in. You can create a full account later if you'd like to keep things across devices.
What are the pictograms?
They're simple activity symbols that describe each event visually. Kuupo suggests them automatically from your description, so events are easy to scan — and friendlier for non-native speakers and visual (AAC) communication.
How does Kuupo use my location?
Only to show events near you and to place ones you create. Kuupo asks before using your location, and you can still browse the map by hand if you'd rather not share it.
Is it private?
We collect as little as possible. There are no ads, we don't sell your data, and anonymous login lets you take part without handing over personal details.
What can I use it on?
Kuupo is built for iPhone, Android and the web from one app, so you can join from wherever you are.
What does it cost?
Kuupo is free to start. If that ever changes, we'll be upfront about it.
